Dr Devendar Singh was a Consultant for 6yrs at prestigious Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre, New Delhi. Trained under India's Leading Cardiac surgeon Dr Naresh Trehan at EHIRC(Currently Chairman, Medanta Medicity). He is credited with 18 years experience of more than 10,000 cases in various corporate hospitals. Surgical Fellowship under Prof John Riordan & Prof Barry Mahon at Wakefield Hospital, Wellington, New Zealand. Exposed to VATS and Aortic Aneurysm surgeries at ASAN Medical center , Seoul, South Korea. Trained in Heart Transplant, LVAD, Keyhole Surgeries(MICS) at Leipzig Heart center, Germany. Fellowship at Nuovo Ospedale Civile S. Agostino – Estense in Modena(Italy) in complex Aortic surgeries. Visiting Fellowship at University Hospital (K U LEUVEN) LEUVEN,Belgium in Lung transplant surgery.Visiting fellowship at Royal free hospital ,London in Vascular Access surgery for Hemodialysis. Dr. Shomu Bohora (MD, DM (Cardiology), Post Doctoral Fellow (Electrophysiology and Device Management)
He worked as a consultant in Electrophysiology and he done more than 250 cases of radiofrequency ablation independently and over 500 cases as a team, including treatment of supraventricular tachycardias, ventricular tachycardias and postoperative arrhythmias. He is experienced in pediatric ablations and in using 3D anatomical mapping systems for treatment of atrial fibrillation as well as scar ventricular tachycardias.
He has an experience of implanting more than 200 devices including pacemakers, Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators (ICD's) and Biventricular pacing devices.
He is managing patients with arrhythmias, advanced heart failure and for device implantation and follow up at our Rhythm and Heart Failure Management Center at BHIRC.
